The Foundation seeks requests for funding from not-for profit organizations that provide educational, cultural, community based and/or community enhancing programs that are legal or youth oriented.

The Monumental City Bar Foundation (MCBF) seeks applications from not-for-profit organizations providing programs and events that are educational, cultural, community-based and/or community enhancing that are  legal or youth-oriented. Usually, major grants range in the amount of $500 – $1,500 and will be funded for a one-year period. Small and emergency grants ranging up to $500 will be available on a case-by-case basis throughout the year.  Small grant applications, except in the case of requests for emergency funds, are due thirty days prior to the award of funds. Applications for emergency funds must be made at least 72 hours prior to the award of funds.


Only nonprofit organizations as defined in Section 501(c)(3) and Section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code will be funded.
